Is Honeycomb a Visitor Management System?

Honeycomb includes a comprehensive Visitor Management System that caters for a variety of scenarios, but also has significantly more functionality to make your life easier

Do you provide Support?

We could be wrong but we don’t believe anyone else provides better support. We assist with project planning, with the setup of all your data, with training and we are always available to answer question and offer advice. We support Communities in both Hemispheres so we can’t always be on site but remote meetings mean that we can always connect with you.

We have unique requirements. Do you provide custom development?

We encourage custom development and integration into specialist systems. Our intention is to partner with you as your tech team to provide you with a system that does what you need it to and sometimes this means developing something specific that you need. We’ll do this with pleasure. We also identify and continuously add new functionality to the system that we believe adds value.

Do I need special hardware to run Honeycomb?

Honeycomb is hosted ‘in-the-cloud’ so you don’t have to worry about computer equipment and servers. All you need is an internet connection and you are in business.

What is the difference between Access Control & Visitor Access Control

Access Control deals with the management of access devices (gates, turnstiles etc) and permissions people have to enter and exit the estates. The includes who may enter or exit, when, and where. This typically includes the use of biometric profiles such as Facial Recognition, Fingerprint or Palm scanning, as well as the use of Cards or UHF devices.

Visitor Access Control deals specifically with people who do not have a biometric profile for access to the precint. This typically includes the provision of a unique QR code or barcode, scanning and validation of the access code, Driver’s License and Vehicle Registration disc as well as any other metrics the Precint deems necessary.
